Do you struggle to just LET … THAT … SHIT … GO?!! Well, here are my top 10 tips to start meditating.
Meditation is a great way to reduce stress and improve overall well-being. As a beginner, it’s important to start with short sessions and gradually increase the duration as you become more comfortable.
You can try different types of meditation, such as mindfulness meditation, loving-kindness meditation, or body scan meditation, to find what works best for you. It’s also helpful to find a quiet and comfortable space to meditate, and to focus on your breath or a specific mantra.
You can also listen to my podcast episode #165 about this HERE.
I started meditating when I was in my 20’s because my sister suggested that it might help me with exam stress. And it did!
Then when I was working on board cruise ships I decided to add in some meditation classes to the activities schedule, so that the guests could relax and be mindful, and so that I could find some sanity in the chaos. That was a big hit! I got loads of great comments from people saying how much they enjoyed those 1-hour meditation classes and that they were going to keep doing it once they got home.
If you are considering trying it … here are my top 10 tips to start meditating.
1. Find a quiet and comfortable place to meditate.
