Is this all there is? … the big seeker question

Contemporary Goddess, if you’re asking ‘is that all there is?’ the powerful energy of the law of attraction is activated. It’s time to grow!

One of my first mentors used to say: ‘when you ask better questions, you get better answers.’
It made a lot of sense to me that if you are asking questions like:
‘Why me?’ or ‘What’s wrong with my life?’ or ‘When did things get so messed up?’ … the general vibe of your life is not going to be great.
Although, having said that … when you are seeking the universe starts to rise up to meet you.
If you’re asking “Is this all there is?” … that powerful (mostly unconscious) energy of the law of attraction is activated.

Contemporary Goddesses have focused their lives on achievements, whether in work, career or family and now they realise that there’s something missing.

I call that thing meaning.

Jean Shinoda Bolen says “In whatever field a person sets out to gain proficiency and recognition … After a while the challenge and satisfaction of doing the same thing over and over … – loses its appeal. When it does our energy for the task fizzles. This is the point where men and achieving women wonder ‘Is this all there is?’. It is the point that we may experience a new openness to the inner world of feelings, thoughts, yearnings and memories.” (p141 – Crossing to Avalon).

When something is NOT going well, it is leverage to change.
AND you also have to be clear on what you PREFER in your life, otherwise the fear of the unknown will stop you from taking steps to change.
Ever been there?
Not happy with your life, but afraid to change?
Yep … everyone has been there.
Are you there right now?
Okay … so now I know that when this is happening it’s NOT A RANDOM EVENT.
It is happening for a REASON.
It’s time to step up.
It’s time to grow.
It’s time to become a new version of yourself.

So, I would like to share with you some of my favourite ‘Seeker’ questions for Contemporary Goddesses, that I ask my coaching clients, to understand where you are now and where you want to be in your life.

  1. What have been my successes, so far?
  2. How would I like to leave this world a better place?
  3. How would I like to serve?
  4. What would I like the legacy of my life to be?
  5. How am I expressing my creativity?
  6. What would I like to world to know?
  7. What do I believe in? What is my spiritual connection?
  8. When do I feel like I am following my joy?
  9. When do I feel most alive?
  10. How would you like to express love in the world?

I encourage you to choose at least one or two questions that resonate (or you could answer all of them if you feel inspired to take the enquiry deeper).
Sit down in a quiet space with a notebook or journal, to write your answers.
Or you could speak the answers into the voice memos on your phone.
The MOST important thing with this process is to be authentic and honest.
And it’s okay if you feel emotional as you do this, that is your Soul / Inner Self confirming your truth.
Then I’d love to hear about your ‘aha’ moments.
