I’m full-mooning you!

This week I’d like to talk about the full moon on the 31st August … and how to embrace the energy of this Blue Super Full Moon in Pisces! I’m full-mooning you! Calling you out to use the full moon energy.
The term “once in a blue moon” is used to describe something that happens rarely. Just like a second full moon within a calendar month, which happens about every thirty-two months.
This blue full moon is in the sign of Pisces … the dreamy, psychic and emotional sign … so since the moon represents our emotions in astrology, and as she swells to fullness each month, (or twice in one month) our emotions swell as well. So be mindful that you will probably feel a bit more sensitive this week. Tap into these energies by doing some radical rest practices … meditation, yoga, or just napping … and some divination with runes, tea leaves, oracle cards or tarot cards would be perfect activities. Maybe you could book in a card reading or a workshop with your friends.
Whatever divination tools you have, pull them out now, meditate and ask all the questions you want answered.
Note: be aware that the planet of communication, Mercury is retrograde until 15th September, so there might be emotional issues from the past that come up to look at, talk about and do better this time.
Here’s a few questions to consider this full moon:
a) Thinking about your psychic abilities, which one would you most like to develop? Clairvoyance (see), Clairaudience (hear), Clairsentience (feel), Claircognizance (know), Clairgustanance (taste), or Clairalience (smell).
b) Are you willing to leave the past behind and how do you think that will affect your life?
And of course, during the full moon is the best time to write your list of people and situations that you need to forgive. Write the ho’oponopono prayer / mantra on it. Then burn it as you recite the mantra.
Pisces is the last sign of the 12 zodiac signs, so this is a great time to review the last 12 months. What have you achieved? What have you moved on from successfully? How different do you feel now compared to a year ago? Give yourself credit for the good stuff. If you’re still not where you want to be, don’t be too hard on yourself. Sometimes you need to allow things to work themselves out before you can see the concrete results.
I have spent the last 12 months focusing on letting go of some physical weight. *You’ll notice that I said letting go rather than losing … because psychologically we don’t want to lose things, so we hold onto them. But letting go, releasing or dissolving allows your mind to stop holding on.
I’ve been eating differently, exercising more, radically resting, personal development work on releasing of “emotional and mental weight”, acupuncture sessions to work on my metabolism and digestion, and of course, the cold-water dunking. Honestly, it’s been AMAZE_BALLS!! All these things combined have resulted in me letting go of 15 kgs (so far!) … I am STOKED!
My goal is to get to 65 kgs. That’s been on my vision board for a long time now. But I never actually did anything to move towards it. The fact is, that if you put a goal out there, you can’t just sit on your arse and hope it happens. You have to MEET THE UNIVERSAL ENERGY halfway … by taking action steps. I am the first to admit that I’ve not really committed to this goal because I was scared to lose weight.
What?! Yes … it’s true …
There are always unconscious reasons why we don’t achieve the goals we set. To be honest, when I dived into what my fears were, I discovered that I was afraid if I lost the weight, I’d be attractive to men, then I’d get into a relationship, and then that person would leave me, and I’d be heartbroken. So, it was safer to stay how I was. Makes sense right?
Side note #1: I have just gone into menopause and my hormones have stopped doing the “dance of the crazy peri-peri-meno” … so that helps with letting go of weight too. Some women gain weight and struggle to release it during the peri-menopause phase of life.
Side note #2: The full moon is the perfect time to rest and release and reset. That’s what I encourage my menopause coaching clients to do. Realign their body and mind and activities to match the cycle of the moon. It’s a part of their unique MenoRecipe.
If you are curious about why you aren’t achieving your goals or what activities would be best for you to do during menopause – let’s have a chat. It really helps to share your story with someone who will not be judgmental, critical, or disparaging.
You are allowed to have dreams and goals.
You are worthy of joy and pleasure.
You don’t have to suffer in silence.
You are a divine being.
Have a beautiful full moon week … hopefully filled with deeply restful, soothing, nurturing and delicious activities. Remember: I’m full-mooning you!
